In the highly anticipated wake of our double dip recession it is hard to think about fashion. Actually, it is almost maddening. Who wants to think about that looks good and what the coolest finds are when it is hard to put gas in the car. Well, I have good news, what goes around comes around. I guarantee that some of you have the hot items of this season already in your closet. It is all about blending the proper items and mixing and matching. Think about it, Army green, animal prints, clogs, mini boots. Some of these items are barely went out of style and they are back in. Finally, the fashion gods got it right! We are becoming a frugal minded culture, I hope, and recycling is key. Dig into the recesses of your closet, get that animal print sweater, pair it with a pair of black jeans or trousers, go to your nearest discount store and get a scarf or wide belt and there you have it. Remember that less is more. Adding a little bit of animal print to an outfit is a big hit. Tie a leopard scarf to a neutral purse to add a statement.
*bonus tip* go to your nearest nail salon and get a mani pedi in a nutral beige color. This will update the look of any outfit. It is a stretch for those of us who grew up with colors, but it is this seasons hottest color for nails.
